Zülpich is a town in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany between Aachen and Bonn. It belongs to the district Euskirchen. The latin name is "Tolbiacum". The town is famous for the Battle of Tolbiac a battle fought between the Franks under Clovis I and the Alamanni, traditionally in 496.
