Yakety Sax

Yakety Sax is the 1961 45rpm single hit record by saxophonist, Boots Randolph. The song has been used alongside many comedy applications. The song was also used as the theme song for the "The Benny Hill Show."

A common use of Yakety Sax in Internet humor is to superimose it over footage (usually sped up) of some unfunny event, such as the September 11th Attacks or any event that remains unfunny in its own right. Yakety Sax is considered the "video hilarity lithmus test" and is still found on top of several videos originating from the Something Awful forums to date.
