Yahata Nishi-ku, Kitakyushu

(Redirected from Yahata Nishi)

The large West Yahata ward of Kitakyushu includes JR Kurosaki Station, and JR Orio Station on the Kagoshima Main Line with several schools and universities nearby. It is chiefly a residential area, bounded by the Onga river in the West.

Population: 259,068 (Heisei 12, 2000 census)

Area: 83.04 square km
