WrestleMania IX

WrestleMania IX was held at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 4, 1993. It was considered by many wrestling fans as a rather disappointing show, with short matches and too many storyline twists, and is the only WrestleMania to be inducted at Wrestlecrap.

Its attendance was 15,045.

Match Results

• Intercontinental Championship – Shawn Michaels (champion) versus Tatanka (Tatanka wins by count-out, but is not awarded the title)
• Steiner Brothers versus The Headshrinkers (Steiner Brothers won)
• Doink versus Crush (Doink won with the help of a second Doink)
• Razor Ramon versus Bob Backlund (Razor Ramon won)
• Tag Team Championship – Money Inc (champions) versus Hulk Hogan and Brutus Beefcake (inconclusive, as the referee was knocked unconscious accidently, and Jimmy Hart counted Hogan the victor over Ted DiBiase)
• Lex Luger versus Mr Perfect (Luger won controversially, then knocks Mr Perfect out with his elbow)
• The Undertaker versus Giant Gonzalez (Gonzalez got disqualified as he knocks Undertaker unconscious with a mysterious liquid. Undertaker is supposedly "killed" but rises several minutes later and chases Giant Gonzalez out of the stadium. Fans were booing this match and were shouting Hogans name)
• WWE Heavyweight Championship – Bret Hart (champion) versus Yokozuna (Yokozuna wins, but then Hogan appears and quickly defeats Yokozuna, winning the title)
