WrestleMania III
WrestleMania III was the third pay-per-view in the WWE's annual WrestleMania series. The event took place in the Pontiac Silverdome on March 29, 1987. It is particularly notable for setting an indoor attendance record of 93,173 that would last until a papal visit over a decade later. However, some believe that WWE management inflated this number and the real attendance was somewhat lower.
