Witch's Ladder

Witch's Ladder: Knotted cords or hair are an ancient and powerful magickal tool. The witch’s ladder is a type of knot magick in which charms are knotted or braided with specific magickal intention into cords, thus making a powerful talisman. The number of knots used in spells vary, but is often either nine, three, or thirteen. Sometimes feathers of different colors are hung on the knots for greater power. Witch’s ladders are used for healing, binding, and granting wishes. One use of the witch’s ladder is to bind the thirteen moons of the year and capture their power. This allows the witch to better work weather magick, nature magick, and open the doorway to the Faery Realm.
