Windsor and Eton Central railway station
Windsor and Eton Central railway station is one of two railway stations in the town of Windsor, Berkshire, England – the other being Windsor and Eton Riverside railway station. The Central station is situated on the High Street, immediately opposite from Castle Hill, the main public entrance to Windsor Castle. The station is served by local services operated by First Great Western Link to and from Slough.
It is thought that the spur link was built for Queen Victoria's convenience travelling between Windsor Castle and London.
