Wet Tropics of Queensland
The Wet Tropics of Queensland World Heritage Site is an umbrella name for a series of National Parks stretching for 450 km along the north east coast, from Townsville to Cooktown, bordering the Great Barrier Reef, itself another World Heritage site.
Amongst the National Parks included are:
- Daintree National Park
- Endeavour River National Park
- Wooroonooran National Park
- Cedar Bay National Park
and over 700 protected areas including private own land.
