WebCT

WebCT is one of several "e-learning platforms" which are sold to colleges and other institutions for the development and use of e-learning products. The software is used in electronic publishing. To use a textbook or other learning tool published in the WebCT format, the student purchases a password at the college bookstore or obtains it online. The softwear permits integration of material prepared locally with material purchased from publishers.
