Wayne County & the Electric Chairs

Wayne County & the Electric Chairs is a punk band. Originally from New York but signed to the British label Safari. The band is headed by Georgia-born transsexual, Wayne/Jayne County.

The band is known for their campy and foul-mouthed ballads, and basic punk rock, and image which was heavily influenced by the New York Dolls.

None of County's albums were ever released in his/her native country of United States.
