Wave Race

Wave Race is a game for the Nintendo Game Boy. It is a simple game in which you control a jet skier around a track aiming to beat the computer or up to three linked friends.

There are two main modes:

Slalom: You race through pairs of posts across the track. Each one you pass through gains you one point. Most points once all posts have been taken wins.

Race: A simple race in which you must go round certain checkpoints and complete each lap in a time limit. Two powerups are available on the track. The dolphin gives you super cornering, while the octopus allows you to steal boost power from opponents.

In both there are a variety of obstacles including ramps, shallow water and whirlpools. There are eight tracks for each mode.
