Wat Tambor

In the fictional Star Wars, Wat Tambor was the Foreman of the Techno Union, a multi-planet conglomerate dealing in manufacturing and product development. Because he wanted to escape the choking bureaucracy of the Galactic Senate, he joined Count Dooku's Confederacy of Independent Systems and supplied his droid armies to them. He also hosted the first Separatist meeting at one of his factories in Geonosis. As a Skakoan, Tambor relies on a special pressurized suit to survive in most oxygen-rich atmospheres.

During the Clone Wars, Techno Union scientists were in charge of creating the army Grevious needed from the Nelvaanian braves, but with the aid of Anakin Skywalker, the the test subjects rebelled. The head Techno Union scientist was killed by Skywalker using the deadly Force choke that would later become his trademark. Though this scientist bore a resemblance to Wat Tambor, he was not the foreman.

In Revenge of the Sith, Wat Tambor is kept at a secret location on Utapau due to the changing climate of war. He and the other Separatists are later relocated to Mustafar, where Tambor is killed by Skywalker, now the Sith Lord, Darth Vader.
