Warner Bros. Records

Warner Bros. Records was launched on March 19, 1958 by Warner Bros.

In 1960, they signed the Everly Brothers (previously on Cadence Records) with the first ever million dollar contract in history. In 1963 they purchased the Frank Sinatra label, Reprise Records.

In 1967, Warner Bros. Records was sold for $85 million to Seven Arts Ltd. and renamed Warner Bros.-Seven Arts.

It is currently a division of Warner Music Group.
