Wakato Hiroshi

Wakato Hiroshi is one of a number of rival players in the Prince of Tennis anime. Wakato plays for Jyousei Shounan and manages to pull off the gayest transformation sequences ever known to man. Putting Sailor Moon and all her scouts to shame, he employs rainbows, sparkles and a puff of pink/purple smoke to take on the playing style guise of one of the many top pro real tennis players after shouting a provocative and suggestive "CHANGE – OVER~!"

Wakato plays against Kaidoh Kaoru in a match and uses that player's famed boomerang snake back on him but finds the shot harder to handle than he reasoned. Colorful and possibly suffering from multiple personailty disorder, Wakato Hiroshi is an A+ rival that gives yet another reason as to why so many viewers and non-viewers alike suspect the series of shounen ai in nature.
