Wakasa, Tottori
Wakasa (若桜町; -cho) is a town located in Yazu District, Tottori, Japan.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 4,687 and a density of 23.52 persons per km². The total area is 199.31 km².
The area around Wakasa is quite mountainous and the town plays host to the annual 'Yukigassen', an organised snowball fighting tournament in which up to fifty team participate. The winners win a trip to participate in the Hokkaido grand tournament.
