Wakami, Akita
Wakami (若美町; -machi) is a town located in Minamiakita District, Akita, Japan.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 7,310 and a density of 171.40 persons per km². The total area is 42.65 km².
Wakami's main crops are rice, melons, tobacco, flowers, grapes, and potatoes.
