Vranje

Vranje (Врање) is a city located in Serbia and Montenegro at 42.57° North, 21.91° East. Its name stems from old word for "black" in Serbian language and first appears in 1093, in book The Alexiad by Greek royal Anna Comnena. In 2003 the city has total population of 55200.

It is the administrative center of the Pcinja District of Serbia.
