Af'El is the homeworld to the Defel. It is a high-gravity planet with no ozone layer and orbits the ultraviolet supergiant Ka'Dedus. Because of the lack of ozone, ultraviolet light passes freely to the surface, while other light wavelengths are blocked by the heavy gases in the planet's atmosphere. Bastion
Bastion is the current capital world of the Imperial Remnant, and the Sector capital for the far flung Braxant Sector in the Outer Rim Territories. 'Bastion' was originally a codename for the Imperial capital as it was moved repeatedly as the Imperials' were forced to retreat again and again during the Galactic Civil War, but the original name for the planet now known as Bastion seems to have been largely forgotten.
It is a planet with varied climates, much like Earth in reality, and is said to be a fairly pleasant world, one of the few in Imperial space with amenities comparable to Coruscant. It is also, however, a heavily defended position, or 'fortress world' as the Empire called such positions in the late stages of the Galactic Civil War. In addition to planetary deflector shield generators, Bastion is the home port of the Braxant Sector Fleet, which includes such prestigious ships as the Star Destroyers Relentless, Ironhand, Tyrannic, and Obliterator. Also, at one point, an unnamed "Super Star Destroyer" (presumably Executor-class) was seen in orbit over Bastion, although it is unknown whether or not this mighty vessel was part of the Braxant Sector Fleet.
During the war with the Yuuzhan Vong, the Imperial forces defending Bastion were heavily damaged and forced to retreat. In the ensuing chaos, the capital city of Bastion, and the Empire itself, was burned to the ground by Yuuzhan Vong orbital strikes. Rebuilding efforts are still underway, and the loss of life was great, but when compared to the absolute devastation of worlds such as Coruscant and Ithor, Bastion got off easy.

Kashyyyk
Kashyyyk is the lush, tree-filled home planet of the Wookiees.
In the millennia before the rise of the Galactic Republic, Kashyyyk was a member world of the Infinite Empire. Its surface was terraformed by the Rakata, resulting in the abnormally large foliage which still covers the planet's surface in modern times. Its ecology can be politely described as a "layered deathtrap," the planet's surface being covered with trees that are multiple miles high. The dangerous and hostile animals increase as you descend to the forest floor.
The frame story of The Star Wars Holiday Special was set on this planet. The original scripts for Return of the Jedi called for the Death Star to be built in orbit around Kashyyyk by Wookiee slave labor. It wasn't until later drafts that the setting and characters were changed to Endor and Ewoks. The planet finally appears in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Kashyyyk resembles Earth.

This remote, forbidding planet, seething with dark side energy and echoing with the whispers of a thousand ghosts, was the burial world of the ancient Sith Empire, and has long been a sacred planet for the Sith Order. It is orbited by seven moons, and was unknown to the Old Republic before the rise of Naga Sadow. It was to Korriban that the ancient Dark Jedi fled after they were exiled by the Jedi Knights during the First Great Schism. Korriban was orignally inhabited by the Sith race, a relatively simple, red-skinned people. The Dark Jedi amazed the Sith with their training in the Force, and soon elected themselves to a god-like status, becoming the rulers of the Sith. As the years passed, interbreeding occured between the human Dark Jedi and the Sith, and it was not long before the Sith race in its original form became extinct.
Korriban is a desolate world which, under the pall of Sith magic, has become more hellish and dangerous. The Sith Lords erected huge palaces and burial complexes to honor their fallen Dark Lords. Whenever a Dark Lord died, his mummified corpse was interred with great ceremony in the Valley of the Dark Lords. After the fall of the Sith Empire, the planet lost much of its prominence.
It was briefly resettled during the reign of Darth Malak, and was home to the settlement of Dreshdae and a Sith training academy. However, with the death of the Dark Lord at the hands of Revan, the Sith Order collapsed into civil war and the world was once again abandoned.
Seven years after his death at the Battle of Endor, Emperor Palpatine, resurrected by the ancient Dark Lords as the insane embodiment of the dark side of the Force, visited Korriban for the last time in a vain attempt to stop the decay of his last clone body.
Tavion and the Brotherhood of Ragnos attempted to ressurect the Sith lord Marka Ragnos in his tomb, before being stopped by Jaden Korr.

Malachor V
Malachor V is a planet featured in the game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords and mentioned in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. It is the planet where the conflict of the Mandalorian Wars concluded.
A perverted graveyard world resonating with with the dark side of the Force, Malachor V is where the most terrible atrocity of the Mandalorian Wars took place. Malachor was a world taboo in Mandalorian culture, something the fallen Jedi Revan used against them in order to win the war. Revan amassed an enormous fleet (composed, not coincidentally, of Jedi and Republic soldiers whose loyalty to Revan was in question) at the planet, providing the Mandalorians with a target too good to pass up. Directing his forces from the heart of Malachor, an ancient Sith learning center called the Trayus Academy, Revan used a Mass Shadow Generator weapon developed by Zabrak engineer Bao-Dur to literally crush his enemies Mandalorian, Jedi, and Republic soldier alike. Malachor was nearly wiped out as upon its surface countless beings died in a cataclysmic explosion that engulfed the planet. In the resulting destruction, almost the entire Mandalorian fleet was obliteratedas well as many Republic vessels. Left orbiting the planet was the wreckage of countless Mandalorian and Republic warships. All that remained on the surface was a desolate graveyard echoing with the deaths of thousands Jedi and Mandalorians, littered with destroyed ships and inhabited by vicious Storm Beasts. The survivors of the Battle of Malachor were few, but most were fated for no more than legendary status: Darth Revan, Carth Onasi, Canderous Ordo, Bao-Dur, Atton Rand, and, most telling of the atrocities of the battle, Darth Nihilus and the Jedi Exile.
The concentrated deaths of so many Jedi, Mandalorians, and Republic soldiers all at once sent a powerful shockwave throughout the Force, resulting in the Jedi Exile purposely severing all ties with the Force. More sinisterly, it was Malachor that had marked Revan's final descent into a darkness, a journey that would at last be completed when the former Jedi hero declared himself Dark Lord of the Sith. His fall sent his Jedi Master, Kreia, in search of answers. She found them at the Trayus Academy.
From the ashes of Malachor V arose two immensely powerful Sith Lords: Darth Nihilus, the Lord of hunger; and Darth Traya, the Lord of betrayal. Together, with the help of Darth Sion, they nearly brought about the complete and utter destruction of the Jedi Order.
Their plans were finally foiled, however, by the Jedi Exile. Nine years after the end of the Mandalorian Wars, Malachor V was at last completely destroyed, along with the Trayus Academy, Darth Sion, Darth Traya, and, for the moment, the future of the Sith.
Malastare
Malastare is referred to several times in The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, however, it has not been, and likely will not be, seen on screen. According to the Expanded Universe, Malastare is the homeworld of the quadruped Dug race. The Dugs were enslaved by the three-eyed Gran who first landed on and colonized Malastare in 8,000 BBY. There is podracing on Malastare, a pastime referred to by Qui-Gon Jinn in The Phantom Menace as "very fast, and very dangerous". the planet shows up in the Playstation 2 and Game Cube video game Star Wars Bounty Hunter and Nintendo 64 Starwars podracer
In the Old Republic, Malastare was represented in the Galactic Senate exclusively by Gran politicians such as Aks Moe, Ainlee Teem and Ask Aak.
