Villa Vizcaya
Villa Vizcaya is an Italian Renaissance-style estate in Miami, Florida, United States. The villa itself holds a collection of 16th to 19th century European decorative arts and serves as a museum, with National Historic Landmark status. It is owned by Miami-Dade County and is accredited by the American Association of Museums. The property exists within 10 acres (40,000 m²) of land on the Biscayne Bay.
The building was built by James Deering who used it as a holiday home from 1916 to 1925.
