Vikaspuri

Vikaspuri is a suburb of Delhi, India. Started by the Delhi Development Authority in the '80s, it boomed in population in the late '90s. Real estate prices have shot up and are comparable to the posh areas of Delhi, in large part because of the continued boom of immigrants.

The geographical area of Vikaspuri was mostly agricultural land, parts of villages called Budhella and Keshopur. These villages continue to exist right amid the suburb.
