View from a height
Overview
First published in 1963 by Isaac Asimov, View from a Height (ISBN 0380003562) covers a wide range of topics about biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy and many other fields of science. One of his many non-fiction works, the book has a wide variety of chapters discussing topics that interest him. For example, The "Ultimate Split of the Second" details Asimov's novel idea of the light-fermis--a unit of measure which can describe very, very short distances of time. Other topics include ways of describing life, the hottest thing possible, and isotopes.
