Vice Admiral Kent Lee
Vice Admiral Kent Lee enlisted in the U.S. Navy out of high school during WWII and became a Navy pilot. After the war, the Navy sent him to Columbia University, where he earned bachelor's degrees in mathematics and physics. He went on to earn a Ph.D in nuclear engineering. He was instrumental in the development and acquisition of the F/A-18 Hornet while head of NAVAIR.
