Verdanturf Town

Verdanturf Town, known as Shidake Town (シダケタウン Shidake Taun) in the original Japanese version, is a fictional city in the Hoenn region of Pokémon. It is a small town with only one major landmark. It is also the home of Wally.

Verdanturf Town has the Normal rank contest house.

Battle Tent

In Pokémon Emerald, the contest house is replaced with the Battle Tent (as is the case with all other contest houses except the one in Lilycove City). The Verdanturf Town battle tent is similar to the Battle Palace at the Battle Frontier, in which an attack, the only one players can use, will be chosen at random.
