Venom (Star Fox)

Venom is a fictional planet in the Star Fox series of video games. The planet is the base of operations of Andross in Star Fox and Star Fox 64.

The planet gives off a green glow from space. In both Star Fox and Star Fox 64, Venom is the last stage the player visits.

General Pepper sent Andross into exile on Venom, where he then ammassed a large army and launched an attack on the Lylat System. In Star Fox 64, Venom has two defense systems above it, Area 6 and Bolse, either of which the player must get past in order to reach the planet and confront Andross.

Venom was also appeared in the Nintendo GameCube game Super Smash Bros. Melee as a stage.

It is unclear if Venom will appear in any future Star Fox games, since it was not included in Star Fox: Assault, the most recent game.
