Vegas (non-linear editor)

Vegas 5 is a non-linear editing system supplied by Sony Media Software. It features network rendering, transition progress envelopes, downmix monitoring, external control surface support, and envelope automation recording. Vegas 5 uses Connect HD for HDV editing. Sony first introduced Vegas 5 at the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show.
