Veemon

Veemon (or V-mon in the Japanese Version) is Daisuke Motomiya's partner in the Digimon 02 series. Both he and Daisuke are alike in some ways, especially tempers. Sealed away since ancient times, this small dragon is one of the ancient Digimon that are able to Armor-Digivolve. His high athletic skills make him great for hand-to-hand combat.

He was voiced by Noda Junko (Japan) and Derek Stephen Prince (North America).

Important Events

Digimon 02

Veemon was among three Digimon of ancient time sealed by the Soverign Azulongmon in case of a crisis. That day came in the form of the Digimon Emperor as began his conquest of the DigiWorld. Agumon summoned Taichi Yagami and they, along with Patamon and Gatomon, found the Digimental Courage, which created the three D-3s for Daisuke, Miyako, and Iori. Daisuke went with Hikari Yagami and Takeru Takaishi to the DigiWorld, where they met up with Taichi, and Daisuke managed to lift the item, freeing Veemon from his suspended animation. Since then, the two had been the best of friends. In the real world, Veemon regresses to DemiVeemon. Though the Digimentals of Courage and Friendship, Veemon can Armor-digivolve to Flamedramon and Raidramon, respectively. Veemon at two occasions, became Magnamon to fight Kimeramon and Cherubimon.

During Arukenimon's reign of terror, Veemon was the first of the new Digimon to finally digivolve naturally into ExVeemon, and DNA Digivolve with Stingmon to form Paildramon. Then, around Chirstmas time, Veemon and Wormmon were empowered by one of Azulongmon's Digicores. This enabled them, as Paildramon, to digivolve to Imperial Dramon who could "mode-change" for the harsh battles against Daemon, MaloMyotismon, and Armageddemon.
