Variable Cam Timing

Variable Cam Timing (VCT) is an automobile variable valve timing technology developed by Ford. It varies the timing of the intake valves by using hydraulic pressure to rotate the camshaft. It is similar to Mazda's S-VT system.

The VCT system is used in Ford's Triton 3-valve V8 engine. A similar system is used in the new Ford Mustang V8.
