Urban Communities

Urban Communities was a loose commune formed in 1969 in Pacific Grove, California. The physical structure was a large three-story house with a guest cottage and two car garages.

Although it had a short history of one year, Bigbig was a storied location and a stop-over for those in the know traveling between San Franciso and Los Angeles.

It was rented from the Jewish League of Salinas, who owned the property.
