Unicomplex

The Unicomplex is a location in the fictional Star Trek universe. It is located in an unknown area of the Delta Quadrant, and is the closest thing the Borg have to a homeworld. It is the center of all processing activity for the Borg collective, and is the home of the Borg Queen. The Uni-Complex resembles a patchwork-like collection of thousands of cubes, connected by assorted conduits and transportation hubs. Borg cubes frequently cross into and out of the Uni-Complex on their way to other parts of the galaxy.

In 2377, the Unicomplex was destroyed when a future Admiral Kathryn Janeway unleashed a virus within it, which spread throughout the complex and obliterated it. Coupled with the destruction of the transwarp hub which the Borg had used to travel throughout the galaxy, it is possible that the Borg have finally been utterly vanquished, or at least dealt a crippling blow from which they may never recover. The Borg Transwarp Hub destroyed by the USS Voyager was in fact only one of six spread out in all four quadrants. It is believed there is one in the Alpha Quadrant, two in the Delta Quadrant, two in the Gamma Quadrant and one more in the Beta Quadrant.
