Ulleung County (Ulleung-gun) is a county in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. It consists mainly of the island of Ulleung-do, but is held to cover a total of 44 islands, including Liancourt Rocks, which is also claimed by Japan. All of these islands lie within the Sea of Japan (known as the East Sea in South Korea).

Administratively, the county is divided into Ulleung-eup (which is held to include the Liancourt Rocks), Buk-myeon and Seo-myeon. These in turn are divided into 10 legal ri, those into 25 administrative ri, and at the most basic level the county is held to contain 56 "natural villages." (Ulleung County Government [1])
