U.S. 41st Field Artillery Brigade

The 41st Field Artillery Brigade (41st FA BDE) —nicknamed the Railgunners— is a artillery brigade in the United States Army. It is currently based out of Campbell Barracks in Heidelberg, Germany.

The 41st FA BDE is under the command of V Corps Artillery and provides divisonal artillery support for the 1st Armored Division.

The 41st FA is currently composed of:

  • 1–27 FA BN (MLRS)

History

The 41st was first organized in 1918 as part of the coastal artillery. The unit was deactivated in 1969 in Vietnam and reactivated in 1972.
