Twenty second pulse

A twenty second pulse is a pulse signal in the VLF range between 17 kHz and 18 kHz with a duration of 20 seconds. Twenty second pulses occur in wintertime more frequently than in summer. They have their origin presumably in switching actions in the high voltage grid. The pulses are generated by heating burners switching on and off.
