Troll (movie)
Troll is a 1986 fantasy movie. It is often on the list of movies that have been considered among the worst ever, and was featured in the 2004 DVD documentary, The 50 Worst Movies Ever Made. The movie was followed by an even more bizarre sequel, 1991's Troll 2.
Synopsis
Torok, a troll who was formerly the husband of a witch named Eunice St. Clair, seeks revenge on the residents of the apartment building she lives in. First, he takes possession of a girl named Wendy Potter, and his evil motives are suspected by her brother, Harry Potter Jr. (not to be confused with the same character in the popular Harry Potter book/movie series). After he possesses her, he goes into each occupant's apartment and turns every one of its residents into plant pods by using his magic emerald ring. One of the residents, interestingly enough, is named Peter Dickerson (Sonny Bono), named after the author of The Flight of Dragons.
Trivia
- Though this movie is often considered to be among the worst of all time, it features an appearance from a young Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
