Track spikes
Track Spikes are shoes for running sports (Track and Cross Country [note: Cross Country is also reffered to as X-country] as well as some field activities (triple jump, long jump, etc.). They are shoes with spikes in the bottom that you screw in.
To show you a mental image, imagine the under side of a shoe. Where ever the heel is, there are usually no spikes. Near the front of the foot (toe area), there are usually about 5–8 holes (depending on shoe). Each hole is ready for a spike. All you have to do is buy some spikes and a wrench and screw them in. For details about the underside, go to any search engine.
Prices: Track spikes shoes average from as little as $15 to above $100. The actual Track spikes are around $8 for 100 and wrench is extra usually. Some manufacturers include wrench & spikes w/ shoe.
