Toyota VZ engine

The Toyota VZ engine family is a V6 piston engine series.

5VZ-FE

The 5VZ-FE is a 3.4 L (3378 cc) version built in Tahara, Japan. Bore is 93.5 mm and stroke is 82 mm. Output is 190 hp (142 kW) at 4800 RPM with 220 ft.lbf (298 Nm) of torque at 3600 RPM. It has an cast iron engine block and aluminum DOHC cylinder heads. It uses MFI fuel injection, has 4 valves per cylinder with bucket tappets and features forged steel connecting rods, a one-piece cast camshaft, and a cast aluminum intake manifold.

Applications:

Another VZ engine is a 4.0 L (3955 cc) version with 94 mm bore and 95 mm stroke. It is used in the Toyota 4Runner. Output is 245 hp (183 kW) at 5200 RPM with 282 ft.lbf (380 Nm) of torque at 3800 RPM.
