Totentanz (Liszt)

Totentanz is the name of a symphonic piece with solo piano by Franz Liszt (1849), which famously quotes from the Gregorian chant melody for the Dies Irae. Most likely Liszt got the idea from Hector Berlioz, who used the same tune in the much more famous Symphonie Fantastique (1830).
