Torhout

Torhout is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality only comprises the city of Torhout proper. On January 1st, 2004 Torhout had a total population of 18,981 (9,477 males and 9,504 females). The total area is 45.23 km² which gives a population density of 419.63 inhabitants per km².
