Tonya Verbeek
Tonya Verbeek (born August 14, 1977 in Grimsby, Ontario) is a Canadian wrestler. She won a silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in women's wrestling. She attends and trains at Brock University having taken up wrestling in grade eleven. Going into Athens she was considered one on the members of the women's wrestling team least likely to medal but rising to the occasion she surprised many by finishing second.
