Ton pylon
A ton pylon is a pylon for the arrangement of two three-phase circuits in three levels, at which the lowest cross beam possesses a smaller span than the middle crossbar and this a larger span than the highest crossbar. As a rule the highest and the lowest cross beam have the same span at ton masts. Ton masts require small route width, but are higher than pylons in which conductors are arranged in one or two levels.
