Toasty
Toasty is an easter egg in Midway Games fighting game Mortal Kombat II. In it, a picture of sound developer Dan "Toasty" Forden's face would show up in one of the bottom corners of the screen for an instant, and he would say "Toasty!" in a comical manner. This would happen at random whenever one player hit the enemy with an uppercut (hold Down on the joystick and press High or Low Punch). This easter egg remained in all console ports of the game.
However, the Genesis version includes an alternate Toasty image: If you activate the cheat menu in the options screen, Dan Forden's face is replaced by a random doodle inserted by one of Probe Entertainment's (the team responsible for the Sega Genesis version) programmers. The "Toasty!" sound remains unchanged.
