This is Your Day

This is Your Day is a Christian television show hosted by pastor Benny Hinn and broadcast several times a week in the United States by the Trinity Broadcasting Network.

The program began in the early 1990s and is an hour long. During the program Hinn and his helpers read letters, pray, and then show highlights of their tours. Hinn and the crew of This is Your Day travel the world frequently, and a large part of the show is devoted to his tours, in which Hinn touches people who purportedly then rise from wheelchairs, walk without canes, and so on. In another portion of the program Hinn sells products such as books, CDs, audio tapes, and movies.

The program has generated controversy due to widespread skepticism about Hinn being used by God to cure the sick as depicted in the show. Several tabloid newspapers, such as the National Enquirer, and tabloid television shows have claimed the supposedly cured were actually just pretending to be sick for the show.
