Founded in 1957, the Order of Saint Fantony by the scince fiction fandom in and around Cheltenham, UK. The Cheltonham Founders were Eric Jones, Bob Richardson, John Challenge, Les Childs, Audrey Eversfield, Keith Freeman, Frank Herbert, John Humphries, Wally Johnson, Margaret Jones and Peter Mabey.
