The Justice

The Justice is the independent weekly student newspaper of Brandeis University, located in Waltham, Massachusetts. The Justice was founded in 1949, one year after Brandeis opened its gates. The name "the Justice" is in tribute to Supreme Court Justice Louis Dembitz Brandeis, the first Jewish justice of the Supreme Court of the United States and the university's namesake.

Operated, written, produced and published entirely by students, the Justice includes news, features, arts, opinion and sports articles for the approximately 3,000 undergraduates, 1,300 graduate students, 500 faculty and 1,000 administrative staff of Brandeis University.
