Tenryu, Shizuoka

Tenryū (天竜市; -shi) is a city located in Shizuoka, Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 23,084 and the density of 127.08 persons per km². The total area is 181.65 km².
The city was founded on November 3, 1858.
Some area locals claim Tenryu to be the hottest place on the island of Honshu.
