Teaching Mrs. Tingle

Teaching Mrs. Tingle is a 1999 dark comedy/thriller film in which a group of high school students attempt to pull a prank on their most hated teacher, the titular Mrs. Tingle, but instead seemingly kill her. The film starred Helen Mirren and Katie Holmes.

The movie was originally titled Killing Mrs. Tingle, but was delayed and retitled due to the uproar over teen violence in films after the incident at Columbine High School.
