The TÃœV (short for Technischer Ãœberwachungsverein) is a German organization that tries to protect humans and environment against dangers of technical plants and mechanisms of all kinds. It examines as independent consultants monitoring-needy plants, motor vehicles, energy installations and devices. The many subsidiaries of the TÃœVs can appear also as project developers for energy and traffic concepts, problem solutions in the area of environmental protection and certification bodies.
