Sumerduck, Virginia

Sumerduck is a small rural village located equidistant between Fredericksburg, Culpeper, and Warrenton, in Fauquier County, Virginia.

Colloquially referred to as "the 'Duck," this community is the home of the Sumerduck dragway. According to Sumerduck Trading Company, hunting, four-wheeling and metal detecting are popular activities in this area, the last due to its proximity of major conflicts during the American Civil War.
