Stradbroke
Stradbroke is a village in Suffolk, England, United Kingdom. It is in the Mid Suffolk District and part of the East Anglia Region of England. Stradbroke is near to the small Suffolk town of Eye and the larger market town of Diss. It has a population of around 1250.
A working rural community set amidst quiet rolling countryside yet within 45 minutes of Norwich, Ipswich and the beautiful Suffolk coast (Aldeburgh and Southwold being particularly interesting places to visit)
Ideally placed for cycling, walking or just resting, Stradbroke combines the best of the past with the best of the present. Elegant old buildings, a magnificent church and plenty of footpaths – and there are three fine pubs to wash down the exertions and replenish the stocks.
It is a thriving village with plenty of facilties Post Office, convenience store, butcher, baker, a swimming pool, playing fields,community centre, doctors surgery and numerous social and sporting activities. There is both a primary school and a secondary school (which is the smallest in Suffolk and one of the smallest in England with only some 360 students)
