Stilian Petrov

Stilian Petrov (born July 5, 1979 in Sofia) is a Bulgarian football (soccer) player who plays for the Bulgarian national team as a midfielder, and also currently plays for Celtic of the Scottish Premier League.

Petrov has become known for his solid performances in midfield for both Celtic and Bulgaria. He is now captain of the national team and led his side to Euro 2004 where he was sent off during a match against Denmark. He has appeared over 50 times for his country.
