StephTheGeek
Stephanie Pakrul is better known on the internet as StephTheGeek. Living in Mississauga, Ontario, she is now a 22 year old information technology student at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. She began developing webpages at around the age of 15. She started her personal site StephTheGeek.com a few years later, in 2001, as a small personal website. The site has since become a blog sharing every detail of her life, from the mundane to the wild (a giant case of scope creep). At the end of 2003, Stephanie released her debut album, Not A Victim, to critical acclaim.
Stephanie has been featured on TechTV, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's Street Cents, and in Young Entrepreneur, CosmoGirl, and several newspapers. Her diverse interests include increasing efficiency in everyday life through innovative uses of technology, adult industries, and consumer rights, but she is best known for her extensive site that now has a strong community of 40,000 unique visitors each month.
She was also a member of Industry Canada's SchoolNet Youth Advisory Board.
